None of us can quite remember the exact day in September, but we were all together in the car singing some of the songs learned in Christian School. Suddenly Daddy turned around and said, "Who did that?"
"Did what?" the girls asked innocently.
"Who was singing in three part harmony?" questioned Daddy.
"We were, Daddy." answered Lois, Joy and Gladys.
"Well, do it again!" encouraged Daddy.
So they did it again.
When we reached home Daddy took the three girls to the piano and placed before them the words and music of the song, "Is Your All on The Altar?" Daddy taught us to give our firstfruits back to the Heavenly Father, so we learned this song of dedication as our very first song. We started out as a trio with Dad on 6-string guitar, and David on bass. People were amazed that three young girls, ages 12, 9, and 7 years old could sing three part harmony.
Then as we grew, David added a 12 string guitar and a bass voice. Joy began to accompany some songs on the piano, and Faith was an asset with her singing and guitar playing. Even Mother came up and joined us for a 'Mama song' in each concert.
During that time we travelled many miles, mostly in eastern US, and have sung in many churches known as the SINGING HETRICK FAMILY. Now since Dad and Mom are both in Heaven enjoying their reward we are established as HETRICK HOUSE MINISTRIES, and some of us are still sharing in word and song a little bit of Heaven, in churches, conferences, home groups, and wherever else God leads.

THE TESTIMONY OF HEAVEN AND THE GRACIOUS KING
The true story from page ONE began in the courts of heaven where THE PLANS JEHOVAH'S HEART (Psalm 33:11) were formed long ago, and they are being fulfilled in perfect faithfulness and truth. God knew all His works from the beginning of the world, and He is making them known to us.
When you read or tell a story, you start at the beginning, right? I know some of you, when you start to read a book, like to go to the back, and see how it all ends. :) Well how many of you read the Bible? If you read the back of that book, you find out that we win, if we follow God's plan. So it seems like a good idea to find out what those plans are!!
SO LET'S START AT THE FIRST BOOK THE FIRST CHAPTER AND THE FIRST VERSE
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning GOD .... How do you describe someone .......
Who has no beginning and no end -- Who flies on the wings of the wind -- Who is clothed with majesty, strength and honor -- Who covers Himself with light as with a garment, and makes the thick clouds his chariots -- Who is a consuming fire -- Who spreads out the heavens like a curtain -- and gives life and breath to all. THERE IS NO ONE LIKE HIM, THERE IS NO ONE HIS EQUAL!
And yet according to Jeremiah 9:24 He wants us to understand and know Him, and to know that he delights in lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness.
There are sooo many interesting, exciting, edifying insights we can learn from the love letter our Father wrote to us!!

taken to Heaven to stay---2/5/2001
One day as a small boy my dad cut his finger. When he saw it bleeding he ran crying to his mother. As she bandaged the wound she reassured him with the words, “Cheer up Junior, you’re not going to die.” It was then that he determined in his heart, “If there is such a thing as everlasting life I’m going to find it.”
He was born with what they called in those days a “bad heart’ (trouble breathing, etc.) But at the age of twelve his parents took him to a revival service in a church where the evangelist prayed for him. God healed him and his heart never troubled him again.
From earliest childhood, Dad knew that he was being watched over by an invisible guardian angel. At the age of twelve he accepted Jesus as his Savior from sin. At sixteen he dedicated his life to God. Such joy filled his soul that he laughed all the way home and could hardly sleep that night. Thereafter his quest for eternal life took on new meaning, and he looked forward to living in Heaven forever. He knew that he was delivered many times throughout his life by supernatural intervention from accidents, evil men and death.
He once said that what he learned in Bible College was how to study the Bible, and that he loved to do. Then throughout his life, he would write articles and books about the truths he discovered. Another part of his ministry was traveling and singing with his family. In this way he was able to share his message of the good news of salvation, and our pilgrim journey through life, with the Celestial City as our final destination and goal of every Christian.
One day while he was painting a house he saw three angels around him. He heard them say “Let’s take him to Heaven” He responded with “Oh no I can’t go in these paint clothes!” But the next thing he knew he was standing on soft green grass, with beautiful flowers. About this he always said, “You should never say no to your angels” That was the first of many, many visits, that continued over a period of about 40 years.
Here is one of Oden's observations --
Meditate -- deliberate, continuous, contemplation, thought -- This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe what to do, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8 and Psa 1:2 and Psa 63:6 and Psa 77:12
GARDEN OF FOUNTAINS
So here we are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and because we have learned to walk in the ways of righteousness and peace, we are now enjoying the bliss of divine life in this Holy Place. As we continue our tour, we are coming nearer to that very gloriously bright center Temple of Heaven. (Rev 7:15: 16:17). Ever since we came from the hall of Records at the gate, we have been gently ascending. And you may have heard the sound of falling water as we were coming close to the center. Just outside and completely surrounding the walls of the round Temple, there are many fountains. You can stand under some of them and let the water fall down on you. It is exhilarating!
Everything in Heaven is so gorgeous that it is easy to run out of descriptive words. There are beautiful fountains in many places throughtout Heaven, but the place we have come to now is called the garden of fountains and is enclosed around its outer edge by a beautiful and delicate trellis. These fountains around the center Temple of heaven are the most magnificently gorgeous!
i can remember two times seeing only one fountain. One time I laid on the white floor just under one of the fountains and looked up, watching the water fall on me like rainbow sparkles. Another time I stood under a fountain that was coming down aroundme like an umbrella. However.....

One day as I sat on his lap, Yeshua said, "Come and see the garden of fountains." We went out the entrance of the most holy Place and looked to the right. OH! WOW! was all I could think! What breathtaking beauty -- beautiful, exquisite fountains everywhere. The bright white light made the water from the fountains dazzle and sparkle with color.
Heaven is big like a planet. What you see here is a side view of the City of Heaven. It is foursquare as in Rev 21:10-16, with 12 foundations, walls of jasper and 3 gates on each side. Over the gates are the names of the tribes of Israel. After entering the gate you go thru a large bright hallway, you are greeted by an angel and then you step into the Holy Place of Heaven. This is where you see the River of Life, the Tree of Life, and the big beautiful City Mansions. The round tower you see in the center is the Holy of Holies of Heaven. This is the Throne Room of Yahweh.
Around the outside of the City is an outer expanse like environs or suburbs. These suburbs are huge and are very much like earth, with mountains and valleys, trees and rivers. But unlike earth, (Mat 6:19) there is nothing here to corrupt. (Mat 6:20 & Rev 21:4 & 27) Also this City with suburbs was finished from the foundation of the world. It was made before the earth was created. (Heb 4:3 & Mat 25:34)
This is the view looking down from above. In the center of the foursquare City, is the Most Holy Place wherein is the Throne of Yehovah, and the Sea of Glass. (Rev 4:2, & 6) The River comes from the Throne, through each chamber in the Most Holy Place, then down into the garden of fountains, just outside the walls of the Temple. From there it flows in twelve spirals outward to the eastern gate.
Immediately on both sides of the River is a row of trees called the Tree of Life, that produces twelve kinds of fruit, one for each month. But there is more than one kind of fruit ripe at one time. The River and trees are in the middle of the street. So the golden street, that you can see into but not through is on both sides of the River. (Rev 22:1, & 2)
There are also twelve straight streets, going from each of the twelve gates to the Garden of Fountains around the center Temple.
Heaven is full of music with beautiful harmony. One of the sources for the music is the River of Life. After spending many hours in the River during 2 or 3 earth years of time, I began to recognize tunes that came from there. This is one tune that my Dad, Oden Hetrick brought back with him. It fit perfectly with the words from John 14:1-3, where Yeshua talks about the mansions waiting for us. ENJOY!!
