Your Questions Answered

Question #1: Does every saint have a mansion, or do they need to do works for them?

ANSWER Some thoughts and questions about Christianity and the herafter can be resolved by using a little reasoning and common sense. For instance, would a man like John the Baptist who was dedicated from his mother's womb (Luke 1:15) and preached repentance until he was martyred for his faith (Mat 14:10 & Mark 6:16) be rewarded in eternity on the same level as the repentant thief on the cross who was promised by Jesus, "Today you will be with Me in Paradise" (Luke 23:43)?? Or would someone who was a faithful preacher of righteousness all of his life, receive the same reward in eternity as a man who lived a wicked life only to be saved on his death bed? I don't think so.

The Scriptures would teach us of varying degrees of brightness concerning the resurrection. "Those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament and those who turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever" says Daniel 12:3. Paul tells us that, "There is one glory of the sun another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars for one star differs from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead" I Corinthians 15:41,42. Jesus declares, "Behold I am coming quickly and my reward is with me to give to everyone according to his work". Rev 22:12. Now the work we do is up to us. Whether we build with wood, hay, and straw, or gold silver and precious stones, our works will be tried by fire. What burns up is lost, what remains will be rewarded. (I Corinthians 3:11-15)

Jesus also promises, "In my Father's house are many mansions...I go to prepare a place for you. (John 14:2) A place?? Yes. In a mansion? Most likely. But will you be in it all alone? David the Psalmist said, "I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness." (Psa 84:10) So there are servants in the mansions of Heaven. A great house consists of many souls of various stations. In Luke 14:7-11 Jesus admonishes us to humbly accept the lowest place when we are called to a feast and allow the host to position us higher if He deems us worthy of it.

Salvation is a free gift bought and paid for by Jesus Christ himself. That a soul is in Heaven at all is testimony to the fact that he has received the free gift of eternal. Whether he is a doorkeeper in a mansion or the owner of the mansion depends on his faithfulness to Yahweh/God after he is saved.

QUESTION #2: I am a christian, but sometimes i fall. how can I be good?

ANSWER Salvation is the beginning of a wonderful relationship with a loving Heavenly Father. It takes time and effort to maintain any relationship, and so it is with your Heavenly Father. His nature is to love, and bless and He loves to fellowship with us!! If you fall, just get up again, ask the Father to forgive you and go on, remembering I John 1:9.

Here are some other verses that tell us how to 'be good'.

Psalm 119:11 Your Word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

That would be reading the Bible every day and memorizing scripture, even just one verse at a time. Repeat it over and over throughout the day til you know it by heart.

Psalm 119:9 (NAS) How can a young man (or lady) keep his way pure? by keeping it according to Your Word. (KJV) How shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed according to Your Word.

This is obeying whatever the scriptures are telling us we should do.

Proverbs 16:6 (AMP) By love and mercy, truth and fidelity....iniquity is purged out of the heart, and by the reverent, worshipful fear of Yahweh men depart from and avoid evil.

As we continue to do this we will know the truth and the truth will set us free

Galatians 5:16 Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

I John 3:2, 3 ...but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as He is. And every one that has this hope in Him (that we shall be like Him) purifies himself, even as He is pure.

QUESTION#3: Do we have some rate of exchange, such as to purchase an item we don't have?

ANSWER: Jesus already paid the price on the cross for us and as far as I know we won't have need of anything. If you do just ask Jesus!! He loves to grant the desires of our heart. (Psa 145:16) Heaven is self sufficient in every way to provide for eternal spiritual beings, just as the earth is able to sustain physical life.

QUESTION #4: Do we have occupations and do we go to the place of our occupation?

ANSWER: In Heaven you are able to do whatever you want to do, because our desire is to obey the Spirit of Yahweh. You can call it a hobby or an occupation if you like, but the Bible calls it pleasure -- I delight to do Your will. Psa 16:11 says "....at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Psa 37:4,5 says "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart...." So whatever talents and desires He has placed in your heart, are the ones He will fulfill and bring to pass even in Heaven, as you delight in Him. There will be new discoveries to make, libraries with books to read, mansions to decorate and jewels to create with, plenty of exciting activity, and lots of time for visiting and entertaining.

QUESTION #5: How can we have Jesus present at our table -- is he ever present at parties or banquets?

ANSWER: The Spirit of Yahweh controls everything in Heaven, so when there is a banquet or picnic He knows about it. And as far as I know, Yeshua comes to every one! He has always been at my tea parties, and banquets. While on earth, he accepted invitations to meals. The wedding of Cana, Zaccheus, and Lazarus and his sisters house. If you desire Him to be present, He gives you the desire of your heart. (Psa 37:4) He is omnipresent remember, He can be many places at the same time.

QUESTION #6: Are the colors of nature on earth, like the sky and ocean and trees and plants, anything like in Heaven?

ANSWER: When man invented paint he discovered how to achieve many different colors by mixing 3 primary colors — red, blue and yellow.  Then man discovered how to get any color from 3 basic colors of light — red, blue and green.  Every color in the spectrum is found in the light from the sun.  Any object with prism-like qualities can divide sunlight into a rainbow of colors.  Dad in his book mentioned 5 major colors in Heaven, and there are also many blends of them. Everyone knows of Heaven's street of gold, but Rev 4 also mentions a rainbow around the throne and a sea of glass like crystal.  Rev 21:19-20 lists the many colored gems of the foundation stones, sapphire, emerald, topaz, etc.  Rev 22:5 says there is no need of the sun because Yahweh gives them light.

Now can you just imagine the true pure light of Yahweh filtering through crystal droplets and precious gems — what colors would result? Fragrant green trees with fruit of every color and description, soft green grass, flowers of every hue, and mansions made from gems of every color.  Yes, there are lots of colors in Heaven that make the colors of earth almost dull in comparison, and they seem to shine as light. Many times it is like a rainbow effect.  Heaven is soooo beautiful!!

QUESTION #7: How do we request an audience with Yeshua/Jesus?

ANSWER: The Spirit knows your thoughts. [Psalm 139:23; Isaiah 66:18; Luke 6:8] So if you desire to talk with Him, He appears. Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to Me and I will answer you... also James 4:8 "Draw nigh to Yahweh, and He will draw nigh to you".

QUESTION #8: What about the Father — do we request time with Him or does He call on us?

ANSWER: The best way I can answer that is to say that the Father and the Son are one.  [John 10:30, 38]  If you see the Son you see the Father.  John 14:9   You can see Him anytime you desire.  There is always a manifestation of the Father on the throne. Jehovah/God is one, yet He is everywhere.  This is something we will understand much better when we arrive there.

QUESTION #9: Do we sleep in Heaven?

ANSWER: First I will say — you won't want to sleep!! There are too many exciting and interesting things going on.  There is however a dimming of light every so often, when things slow down and people generally recline in their mansions, for a long quiet (evening) together.  But there is no night there.  [Revelation 21:25]

QUESTION #10: Is your spouse on earth going to be your companion in Heaven?

ANSWER: There are many happily married people on earth who could very well be companions in Heaven.  On the other hand the earthly covenant of marriage is till death do us part.  If a partner dies, the spouse is legally free both by man's law, and God's law to marry again. [I Corinthians 7:39 and Romans 7:3]  If a person on earth can have more than one spouse because of death, then surely after death when we get to Heaven, Yahweh knows who the perfect companion is for us, because He is the one who created you to be one.  [Gen 2:21]  So everyone who is married on earth is not married to their covenant companion.  Many people remarry after the death of a spouse, meaning they have had two spouses, but in Heaven they only have one companion.  Yahweh created you, knows you best, loves you more than anyone, and knows who He created to be your perfect companion.  In Heaven all will be made right.

QUESTION #11: In eternity will we be part of other worlds? Are there other worlds with a Heaven? Are there many planets and galaxies in Heaven for us to explore?

ANSWER: Colossians chapter one is an excellent passage of Scripture to help answer your question.  Yeshua/Jesus, the image of the invisible God Most High, is the very center of the universe as we know it.  "....all things were created by Him and for Him and He is before all things and He holds it all together"  He is the Creator of the UNIVERSE, so I would think He had the power to create other worlds, if He chose.  And even have a manifestation of Himself in another Heavenly City, if He wanted to.  He is omnipresent, and can appear in many places at the same time.

He just did not choose to tell us all about these details specifically in the Bible.  Yahweh/God chose to reveal Himself to us through the Father - Son relationship so we could understand His love for us.  The most important thing for now is to know Him as our Father in Heaven and Savior [Isa 45:21]. One day we will know as we are known.  [I Cor 13:12]

Matthew 25:21 says, "Well done good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things..."  Could that be a reference to many worlds?  It is quite an idea to ponder.  "I pray Yahweh/God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." [I Thes 5:23]

QUESTION #12: In Heaven are there seasons — does it get cold or hot or always "just right'?

ANSWER: Not seasons like on earth -- but instead of earth leaves changing in the fall, the Bible says the Tree of Life changes its fruit every month!!  [Rev 22:2]  Yes, the weather is always "just right!"

QUESTION #13: In Heaven do we wash dishes? Do we wash clothes? Do we need showers? Are there bugs? When we eat is all food absorbed, and is there no waste?

ANSWER: Like Abraham [Heb 11:10, 16] we are looking for a City, and an inheritance that does not perish, is not defiled, and does not decay or fade away [I Pet 1:4]  Also Matthew 6:20 tells us "...lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal." Won't that be nice?!  That means no dust, dirt, or rust, no decay on fruit or flower!!  That means we never have to worry about a rotten apple or spoiled almond butter!!

Let's go further —that means no washing dishes, no dirty laundry, no pesty bugs, no trash or garbage!! That's right, the Holy City of Jehovah/God is PURE, CLEAN, UNDEFILED, AND BEAUTIFUL  [Rev 21:4 & 27]  And it lasts for eternity.  When Dad ate a piece of juicy fruit, he looked down at his sleeve to see the stain from the juice---no stain! I like the way little Victoria described when she saw the children eating fruit. She said "Jesus came and took all the sticky away!" I have eaten several kinds of fruit and never had sticky, messy fingers or garbage when I was done. You may choose any piece of fruit off the Tree of Life and it will be perfectly good and delicious.

QUESTION #14: Does everyone in Heaven have a covenant companion?

ANSWER: The mental and emotional desire for perfect companionship is a deep inescapable longing of creatures made in the image and likeness of Jehovah/God, for God is love.

MAN'S DEEPEST NEED IS FOR GOD, AND HIS DEEPEST DESIRE IS FOR A COMPANION

Does God create within us a desire to be with a companion forever and not make provision for this desire to be fulfilled ? Psalm 37:4 says if you delight in Yahweh, He gives the desires of your heart.

Psa 145:16 "You open Your hand, and satisfy the desire of every living thing.

I Cor 11:11  "Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord."

QUESTION#15: Are there other worlds with a City and a throne or is there only one Throne for the whole universe?

ANSWER: We have a City of Heaven prepared for our solar system, from the foundation of the world.  This City with the Throne of Yahweh and the Lamb is to endure forever, as the sun and be established as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven (sky).  [Psa 89:36, 37]  Again, Yahweh is all-powerful and omnipresent.  He is the Creator of the UNIVERSE, so I would think He had the power to create other worlds, if He chose.  And even have a manifestation of Himself in another Heavenly City, if He wanted to.  He is omnipresent, and can appear in many places at the same time.  In all the millions and millions of stars and planets in the world, it would seem likely that a Creator would create other life.

In the book 'Caught Up Into Heaven' other worlds are mentioned as being inhabited by holy beings in various degrees of spirituality.  It is available on the order page of this website if you are interested in reading more.

QUESTION #16: Do we cook meals? Do we have gardens? Where do we get food? Do we serve at other people's banquets and at our own others serve us?

ANSWER: The row of trees called the Tree of Life always has fruit, and there are gardens of nuts, gardens of spices and vineyards  [Song of Solomon 5:1 & 6:2, 11]  Also food is gathered and brought in from the outer suburbs where there are many groves of fruit trees, gardens and vineyards.  There are servants in Heaven — the Bible speaks of doorkeepers in Psa 84:10.  So it would be servants who would prepare the meals and serve them.  These servants love to do what they are doing.  Here is a quote from Rebecca Springer, as she stood in the park by the Tree of Life.  "It seemed to me, and really proved to be so, that food for the most elegant feast was provided here without labor or care."

QUESTION #17: Is there music present at all times?

ANSWER: Only and always when you want it, and it is sooo beautiful.  I have heard the flowers sing, the River sing, saints and angels sing.  There are many songs of saints and angels recorded in Revelation.  And to hear Yeshua sing is beyond words to describe.  [Zeph 3:1]

QUESTION #18: Is the City of God just suspended in thin air or is it part of a larger place?

ANSWER: 1st — There is a City foursquare as in Rev 21:10-16, with 12 foundations, walls of jasper and 3 gates on each side. And around the outside are huge "environs" "suburbs" "outer expanse" very much like earth, with mountains and valleys, trees and rivers. But unlike earth, [Mat 6:19] there is nothing here to corrupt. [Mat 6:20 & Rev 21:4 & 27] The City with its suburbs is big like a planet, and it was finished before earth was created. [Heb 4:3 & Mat 25:34]

2nd — Job 26:7 says God hung planet earth on nothing. And from our research we found the City of God is to be located in the sky like the earth and the sun and the moon. [Psa 89:36, & 37] Also II Cor 5:1 says "For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." If God can hang the earth on nothing, surely He can hang the City, New Jerusalem where God sits on His throne, in the Sky!!

  • Galatians 4:26 It is the Jerusalem that is above.
  • Amos 9:6 (AMP) He builds His upper chambers in the heavens
  • Revelation 11:19 & 15:5 The temple of God in heaven (the sky) with the ark of the testimony
  • Psalm 89:37 HEAVEN is the throne, earth is the footstool
  • Hebrews 12:22-25 tells us of the City of the Living God, the Heavenly Jerusalem

QUESTION #19: Does everyone wear white or are there other colors worn?

ANSWER: The Bible tells of a white robe made of fine linen--the robe of righteousness, in Rev 19:8. But the Bible also talks about garments of gold, and raiment of colorful needlework in Psa 45:13-14.   I have seen my beautiful gold gown, my pale blue gown, and my white gown, sparkling with many colors.  The most beautifully jewel decorated garment that is worn for worship in the temple, is called the garment of praise. [Isa 61:3]

QUESTION #20: What about those that may want to spend more time with Him, can you spend as much time as you like with Him?

ANSWER: He would be delighted for you to spend as much time with Him as you like. He told us to seek His face. Psa 27:8 "When you said 'Seek ye my face' my heart said unto thee, 'Thy face, Yahweh, will I seek'".Remember, He is omnipotent, He can be many different places at one time. He is not like a human on earth. So there's no need to worry about taking too much of His time. He has all of eternity!!

  • Proverbs 8:17 (God said) I love them that love me...
  • Psalm 145:18 Jehovah/God is nigh to all them that call on Him, to all that call on Him in truth.
  • Psalm 73:28 It is good for me to draw near to God.

QUESTION #21: What do houses in Heaven resemble? Can you show me a picture of anything similar? I can never seem to picture what these mansions will be like.

ANSWER: As for the mansions, some of the huge castles of England would be the closest thing I can think of on earth, that resemble the mansions I have seen.   Only for size though -- because the mansions in Heaven are made of beautiful shining materials, and are filled with bright light. QUESTION #22: Is Yeshua/Jesus ever seen among the people or is He always seen as sitting on the Throne?

ANSWER: Yeshua/Jesus is seen among His people much.  As far as I know He comes to all the banquets and picnics.  I have also seen Him in the park just visiting with friends. There is always a manifestation of the Father on the Throne. I have seen Him both sitting on the throne and standing at the Throne. But remember Yahweh is Spirit and therefore He can manifest Himself in many different places all at the same time. He can be with you in your mansion and with me in the park at the same time. The River, the Tree of Life, the Father, the Son are all manifestations of the Invisible Spirit. [John 4:24]
